Emberfall Saga
★★★★★ 4.7
Emberfall Saga is the kind of RPG that respects your attention. The story kicks off slowly but by the third chapter you're managing a party of four with distinct classes, and combat opens up into a turn-based system with positioning that actually matters.
Progression is generous without being mindless. Skill trees branch in ways that encourage rebuilds, and we found ourselves respeccing our mage twice just to try different playstyles. The writing carries real weight in places, with a few choices that stuck with us longer than expected.
If you want a mobile RPG you can sink twenty hours into without feeling milked, this is an easy recommendation. The only downside is the occasional pacing dip between story acts.
What we liked
- Deep party building and skill trees
- Choices that actually affect the story
- Turn-based combat with smart positioning
